Electromagnetic Pest Repellent

As long as the temperature of the object itself is greater than absolute zero, it can emit electromagnetic radiation, and there is no object in the world with a temperature equal to or lower than absolute zero. Scientists have made use of characteristics of an electromagnetic wave to create an electromagnetic pest repellent. This electromagnetic pest repellent has more advantages than traditional pest repellents.

The electromagnetic wave is formed by the electric field and the magnetic field which is oscillated in the same phase and is perpendicular to each other to move in the form of waves in space. The propagation direction of it is perpendicular to the plane formed by the electric field and the magnetic field, and the energy and momentum of it are effectively transmitted.

Electromagnetic radiation can be classified by frequency, from low frequencies to high frequencies, including radio waves, microwaves, infrared light, visible light, ultraviolet light, X-rays, and gamma rays etc.. The electromagnetic waves which can be received by the human eyes having a wavelength between about 380 and 780 nanometers, they are called visible light.

Nevertheless, only electromagnetic waves that are within the visible light frequency range can be seen. The electromagnetic wave does not need to rely on the medium to propagate, and various electromagnetic waves are fixed at a rate in the vacuum, and the speed of them is equal to the speed of light.
